That is a phrase that you normally see used in a marriage. I have found that is is the same for a new home. We have been living in our new home in Elmira, OR for a year now. The year has been spent working on the property and our home getting them both they way we like it. We still have at least another year of work to do. The kids are still living with us. They have bought a house and it is due to close on December 1st. I am very excited for them. I am selling again in the new shop here in Ve...

Looks like we had to make one more move from Bend, OR to Elmira, OR. My husband says we are never moving again and I want to agree with him. We found a piece of property and are still setting up. My husband has a wood shop and a barn to do his work with. I plan to add to his honey-do list for cut projects for me to paint.  We also plan on getting some more goats and chickens as we had to give ours away. Our youngest son and family are temporarily living with us. They are hoping to be in a place ...

It has been two years since we moved and we are still loving it. We have 3 hens and 3 chicks that are only about 3 weeks old. I am updating my website now and will have items for sale. Right now everything is designed by another artist but hopefully I will soon have my own designs. I have joined the SageBrushers Art Society in hopes that t...

It is so hard to believe we have lived here for a year already. We love the house that we bought on an acre of land in the woods. It will take a couple of years but we will eventually get the property all cleaned up. I have never seen so many pine needles and pine cones, lol. Deer and quail are constantly coming through our property. Seems like what ever I plant they enjoy eating. Now that we are established in the community it is time for me to settle down with my painting and my classes. I loo...

I have taken a new step....a big step....in my artistic journey. I have signed up as a consultant for Social Artworking. What a wonderful way for me to reach out to people and show them that yes, they can paint too. Advertising has always been my downfall. It is not easy for me to reach out to other people. I tend to wait for them to find me. Luckily, Social Artworking provides information I need that will help me overcome me fear. I have already sent out my first email campaign. I'm trying to g...
